Multi-Vehicle Crash Closes I-75 for Several Hours

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL – A multi-vehicle crash on I-75 injured one person and closed southbound lanes for several hours this morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 7:45 a.m. a BMW 330E merged into the path of a tractor-trailer, which caused a chain reaction involving three other vehicles, including a second tractor-trailer.

Only one person suffered serious injuries in the crash.

The roadway reopened to traffic at 11:19 a.m.
