Webster Man Disappears Under Mysterious Circumstances

WEBSTER – A search is underway for a missing Webster man who disappeared from his home earlier this month.

According to officials, on September 8, 2024, 63-year-old Boby Joe McCall walked away from his home on Kramer Street to try and purchase a vehicle title on Snyder Street, less than a mile away. Investigators say McCall never reached his destination and did not return home.

Officials say McCall's family did not report McCall missing until September 13th, four days after his disappearance. Today, five days later, the Sheriff's Office announced his disappearance on social media.

McCall is described as a white male, 5'7", 180lbs., blue eyes, reddish/brown/balding hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and camouflage shorts.

Sheriff Al Nienhuis has made no public appearances to discuss the search efforts. In stark contrast, Nienhuis published dozens of video updates and images when Lamar Brown disappeared under similar circumstances, just days before the August 20th election.
