Chairman Nicholas Holmes repeatedly asked 44-year-old Pamala Cremeans to direct her comments to the committee, but she refused. Cremeans finally took her seat, but she continued causing a disturbance, resulting in Holmes ordering her removed from the meeting. Several Sheriff's Deputies who are court-appointed Bailiffs eventually had to physically remove Cremeans, which led to her husband, 49-year-old Shawn Cremeans attempting to intervene. Video provided by attendee Obsidian Gomez shows Shawn struggling with deputies and Pamala lying on the ground outside committee chambers.

According to Jail Records Shawn Cremeans was charged with Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Trespassing, 2-counts of Resisting with Violence, Attempting to Deprive an Officer of Means of Protection or Communication, and Concealing a Handcuff Key While in Custody.
