BROOKSVILLE – One person is behind bars today after sources say he set fire to an occupied mobile home.
According to officials, Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to the 6000 block of DeSales Street around 5:15 a.m. where they discovered the structure fully engulfed in flames.
No injuries are reported but officials say the structure was occupied when fire broke out.
The State Fire Marshal conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of one person.
According to the Hernando County Jail website, 61-year-old Tracy Allen Hopkins is charged with one count of First Degree Arson of an Occupied Dwelling.
Hopkins is currently held without bond.
The Hernando County Sheriff's Office has not commented on the incident.
