Elderly Woman Claims Her Brakes Failed After Crashing into Restaurant

WESLEY CHAPEL – An elderly woman was uninjured after she crashed her car into a restaurant on SR-54, Wednesday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 73-year-old San Antonio woman was driving her Hyundai Sant Fe in the parking lot of the Beef O' Brady's when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed through the front doors of the business.

The accident occurred around 10:00 a.m. this morning and no injuries were reported.

The driver claims her brakes failed, causing her to collide with the restaurant.
