Two Men Arrested on Charges of Possessing Video Containing Newborn and Toddler Pornography

SPRING HILL – Two men are behind bars after they were arrested on unrelated possession of child pornography charges on the same day. Warning, details of the allegations are extremely graphic and disturbing.

According to officials, detectives made contact with 32-year-old Joseph Alexander Jones on November 9th after receiving several tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding child pornography. Detectives interviewed Jones at this residence located at 4284 Everette Ave, where he admitted to using his Discord account, under username "fartqueen#8259" and his email, "[email protected]" to search for pornography. Jones admitted to downloading 14 files that contained video and images of children engaging in sexual conduct, but says he wasn't initially searching for child porn; instead, Jones claims he is into "Scat Genre," which relates to someone who is aroused by fecal matter.

Most of the videos discovered by detectives contained toddlers as young as 1-year-old being vaginally penetrated by an adult male. Others show an adult male masturbating on toddler aged children. Additional videos were discovered that showed young children masturbating in what appears to be self-produced video with a cellphone.

Jones was arrested and booked into the Hernando County Jail on a $70,000 bond, which he was able to post on November 14th. Two days later, on November 16th, Jones was arrested again after detectives discovered over a hundred new images which was related to the original case.

During a first appearance hearing on November 17th, Judge Barbera-Joe Bell increased his bond to $1 million dollars and will require him to wear a GPS device if released. Jones asked Judge Bell if he could get a bond reduction, but she declined.

On the same day, November 16th, 22-year-old Bishop Alexander Begeny was confronted by detectives while working as a server at Bonefish Grill. During an interview, investigators explained that they received tips from NCMEC regarding child pornography that was downloaded using his Snapchat, Twitter, and Telegram accounts. Begeny admitted that he downloaded numerous files through Telegram chatrooms, where he discovered children from "childbirth to eighteen" engaged in sexual activity.

Begeny says when he tried to send one of the images to a friend, Snapchat deleted his account.

Begeny was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Sexual Performance by a Child. Jones remains behind bars, held on a $20,000 bond.
