ORIGINAL REPORT:

SPRING HILL – An investigation is underway into an early morning shooting that occurred on the 6400 block of Holiday Drive.

Officials say the shooting occurred around 4:30 a.m. outside the residence during a house party. However, a neighbor contacted R News after our initial report and said the party that took place at the target residence was on Friday night, not last night. The witness, who wishes to remain anonymous, says her front door was struck by a bullet just as she was leaving the house. She also says the suspect and intended target were shooting at each other.

There are no injuries reported, according to officials, and the case remains under investigation.
