Four Medical Helicopters Responding to Several Major Accidents in Brooksville

BROOKSVILLE – Several people have suffered serious injuries in a three-vehicle crash at Broad Street and Snow Memorial Hwy.

Fire Rescue is reporting the need for four medical helicopters respond to the scene and five rescue units. At least one patient is reportedly a trauma code.

There is complete road blockage this time.

Fire Rescue is also working two other major accidents at Powell Rd and Broad Street and at Barclay and Lucky Lane.

Hernando County Fire Rescue is down to just one medical unit at this time and will be requesting mutual aid from surrounding counties.
